English combined noseband
This noseband is the classic and is suitable for almost all horses. It allows the horse to chew actively, but prevents it from opening its mouth too much. The bit also lies quietly in the mouth. When the reins are accepted, the pressure is distributed over the bridge of the nose, lower jaw and chin groove.
Mexican noseband
When the Mexican noseband is correctly buckled, it has a somewhat gentler effect on the nostrils, breathing and mouth activity are less restricted. The biggest advantage is the great breathing freedom it offers the horse. The fact that the straps are crossed means that various bits can be used that otherwise get stuck with other nosebands, such as the full-cheek snaffle. The shape allows pressure to be distributed over several points on the horse's head. It acts on the bridge of the nose, lower jaw, chin groove and a little on the poll. The centrepiece of the Pro-Jump Mexican noseband is padded with lambskin, making it particularly comfortable for the horse.
Double noseband
The double noseband combines the effect of an English and a Hanoverian noseband, which can achieve a special effect. This noseband is particularly suitable for stronger horses. The opening of the mouth can be precisely controlled by the two straps and thus prevents the jaws from shifting. The two sides of the Pro-Jump double noseband can be adjusted independently of each other so that the noseband can be customised to suit your horse.
Rope noseband
The Pro-Jump rope noseband enables a slightly sharper effect on the bridge of the horse's nose and is therefore also suitable for stronger horses. Thanks to the soft leather, the rope noseband is still very comfortable for the horse to wear.
Every horse reacts differently to the different types of nosebands. You should simply try out the different variants to find out what your own horse is happy with and relaxed.
